Move your online store to SYLS

A store migration needs a clear data scope and a launch plan. Start by checking which products, images and pages you need to move, and which order records you need to retain. SYLS can help plan the catalogue and content transfer before you subscribe.

What to prepare

Send a sample export from your current platform and describe:

  • product and variant counts, SKUs, prices, stock and category structure;
  • image files or accessible image links;
  • product descriptions, information pages and language versions;
  • whether customer accounts or order history need to be retained;
  • payment, shipping and external integrations needed at launch.

A sample helps identify missing fields and format differences before the full transfer. Customer accounts, passwords and order history are not automatically included in a product import.

Choose the right transfer method

GROWTH includes XLSX product import and export. Use the SYLS template, check the preview and validation report, then run the import after reviewing the changes. PRO includes content migration support; the source, volume and any additional work need to be agreed for your store.

See the GROWTH import guide and plan comparison. An integration with your previous platform or ERP is a separate scope, not an automatic part of content migration.

Preserve useful URLs and content

Before switching domains, list your existing product and category URLs, page titles and descriptions. Match important old addresses to their new destinations and agree how redirects will be handled. Keep a copy of your exports and images until the new store has been checked.

Check the store before switching

Review a sample of products and variants, images, prices, stock and delivery settings. Place a test order and verify payment status, emails and the customer account. Agree when stock and orders will stop changing in the old store so the final transfer can be reconciled.

Request a demo or email contact@syls.eu with your current platform, catalogue size and required launch date. We can then confirm the migration scope and any additional work.
